Significant Works of TBM Pipe Jacking
The Sewerage pipe in sections is approximately 1.4 km for this project laid inside the village zone. According to the design, in the village area, the sewer pipe would usually be smaller size to suit village environment. The village roads are in general narrow. Open excavation for sewer pipe installation would cause serious inconvenience to the villagers. The main contractor, China State, decided to apply Micro Tunneling Method to install ID450mm sewer pipe by using our TBM450DH Pipe Jacking Method. The work was smoothly proceeded as scheduled and caused less disturbance to villagers.
